Discussion questions:
1) This presentation focused on the drawbacks of learning in
a digital environment. There are, of course, many advantages.
In your opinion, what are the biggest advantages? Do they
outweigh the drawbacks?
2)Many people advocate for the increased use of digital
environments for learning, as they can democratize learning
and make it more accessible to everyone. We have also seen
that unequal access to technology can reveal and exacerbate
social differences. Do you think moving towards digital
technology will make education more accessible to everyone,
less accessible, or more or less maintain current disparities (or
something else)?
3) Do you foresee education moving to a more digital model
in the next fifty years? Will traditional classrooms become
obsolete?
